Vampires
Vampires are the blood-drinking creatures of myth, legend, and numerous profitable movie franchises such as Blade, Twilight, the popular television series True Blood (based on the Suki Stackhouse novels) and numerous novels. None of this would have been possible without Bram Stoker, who exposed Vlad Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) and his kind to the world in print.
Though a vampire resembles a normal human, they all have slightly paler skin, sharp retractable canine teeth, and intoxicating blue eyes. They may live forever, surviving on a diet of blood. Although they prefer the smell and taste of human blood, vampires can survive by ingesting the blood of animals. Modern vampires developed a way to feed without killing humans: the stun, feed, heal method. A vampire’s eyes will appear to swirl when they gloss/hypnotize a victim; otherwise, their eyes can glow bright blue when they use their powers or are about to bite a victim. The arch-enemy of the Vampire is the Lycan.
