Lucifer and the Fallen

Archangel Lucifer Morningstar

The fallen Archangel Lucifer Morningstar was, as written in the Book of Ezekiel 28: 11-19, “the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.” Lucifer’s beauty, ego, and vanity overwhelmed and consumed him, and be believed he could become just as powerful, if not more powerful, than the Creator.

Filled with the desire to seize power for himself, he won over other members of the angelic choirs with a cleverly spun deception that promised greater glory and the knowledge of good and evil, claiming it was powerful knowledge the Creator intentionally withheld from them so they would not question the Creator’s designs. Lucifer omitted his true plans to usurp power for himself and cast out the Creator.

The Battle for Supremacy ensued, but the Creator knew Lucifer’s heart had become corrupt. With swiftness that defies understanding by beings constrained by time, Judgement was passed, and Lucifer and his allies found themselves banished—suffering the very punishment Lucifer intended to exact on the Creator.

When the Fallen around Lucifer realized his true plans, they rebelled against him and attempted to extinguish him from the cosmos to please the Creator and win back his favor through mercy. Incensed at their audacity to turn against him, a near-perfect being, Lucifer summoned a great power and twisted the worst offenders into eternally tormented demonic forces he would oversee in Hell. He turned the rest into supernatural entities whom would serve the grander designs he envisioned: an earthly, supernatural military from Hell ready to divide and conquer the earth. With his heart and soul filled with hatred for the Creator, he became the diametric opposite of all that is good and holy, seeking to destroy whatever everything the Creator made. In addition, Lucifer turned his followers against each other so they could never, ever do what he did to the Creator.

Now, centuries of careful planning have come to fruition as Lucifer seeks to rise up and destroy Creation by bringing about the End Times.

The Fallen

The Fallen are those members of the Nine Angelic Choirs who chose to follow Lucifer’s promises to discover the true nature of good and evil. Becoming enraged when they realized his duplicitous actions earned them the Creator’s Judgement and the ensuing eternal separation from the Creator, the Fallen turned against him. Unfortunately, they quickly discovered Lucifer had turned them against each other so they could never, ever unite against him and do what he did to the Creator. Some bore the full brunt of his wrath while others managed to escape or protect themselves.

Throughout human history, the supernatural and demonic forces have existed with great tension between them, often resulting in terrific stories of myth, legend, and folklore about great or horrific beasts that roamed the earth in the darkness of night. The most common among the supernatural are the Fae, Lycan, Spellcasters, Soul Hunters, and Vampires.
