Alienated best friends Quinn McAlester and Blake Hargreaves silently pass one another in the hallways of Portsmouth High School, no longer trading friendly glances or warm smiles, all thanks to Agent Victor Kraze, the man who succeeded in tearing them apart and beguiling Blake to join The Order, a secret organization with evil motives and controversial goals.

Every day, uncelebrated superhero Quinn masquerades as an ordinary teenager at home, work, and at school, hanging out with his dads, close friends, and his boyfriend, Keegan while helplessly watching Blake change into someone he no longer recognizes. In secret, he rescues people in danger as the city’s unsung superhero while evading the Department of Homeland Security’s attempts to capture him. As time passes, he forges new alliances that will help him take down The Order.

Having run away from home to accept the welcoming arms of the luxury life Victor has offered him, Blake embraces every opportunity to accompany The Order’s agents on close-to-home missions that challenge him in ways he never expected. When Blake begins showing signs of erratic and threatening behavior, Victor realizes he must accelerate his plans to keep Blake engaged in the Order’s new objectives or risk everything he has worked to build.

When city officials realize a second, more menacing super-powered being has arrived, they are forced to reach out to the hero they hunted and ostracized and trust their blue superhero will protect their city from certain doom before it’s too late.
