Back-story Plots

Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on some important back-story plots for my space opera novel Galaxy. These key plots may or may not make it into the published novel because they serve only to help me set a believable stage for the reader when they enter the story.

Below I shared two snippets of Galaxy’s playground that I reference often when writing, or when I just want to think about what could be – the Galactic Map. As the back-story (and main story) unfolds in my mind and notes, I’ve had to update the original version 1 map to include changes that paint a more accurate picture – so now I’m working from version 2!
